Damage Analysis of Bonded and Sealed Joints

For damage cases affecting adhesive and sealant joints, we carry out systematic root-cause analyses: visual and microscopic examination, assessment of the failure pattern (adhesive or cohesive failure), and identification of possible causes such as UV degradation, contamination, material incompatibility, or workmanship defects. The results are summarised in clear, defensible expert reports.

Damage Analysis of Insulating Glass

For insulating glass units, we investigate damage patterns such as edge seal failure, moisture ingress, gas loss, or delamination. The analysis combines on-site inspection with laboratory examination of individual components to distinguish the actual cause of damage from mere symptoms.

Development of Quality Assurance Programmes for Bonded and Sealed Joints and Insulating Glass

For facade contractors and insulating glass manufacturers, we develop practical quality assurance programmes: testing frequencies, sampling plans, acceptance criteria, and documentation templates for ongoing production. The goal is a level of testing that is economically viable while still detecting defects early, without unnecessarily delaying production.

In addition, we carry out quality inspections directly on site or at the factory — from dimensional checks to spot-check adhesion and strength tests and documentation for acceptance protocols and evidence for building authorities or test institutes.
